We are looking for a Marketing Associate to join our Marketing Team!

The Marketing Associate will support the VP marketing & communications in various projects. The role will contribute to the smooth operation of the marketing department, therefore you should understand the full marketing mix. The responsibilities include, assistance in campaigns, market research and administrative tasks.

The role sits within the Marketing & Communications department and reports to our VP of Marketing & Communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative tasks (collecting and uploading receipts, invoices);
  • Assisting with trip planning (bookings);
  • Taking care of inventory and sending, receiving packages;
  • Supporting the VP/Managing director on ongoing projects;
  • Doing research and prep work for various projects (online and offline research) – competition research, making mood boards, preparations for presentations;
  • Liaising with other departments to align project requirements and meet deadlines;
  • Website and social media content update (potentially also writing?);
  • Support with organizing internal and external events;
  • Ensuring marketing plans are executed according to project timeline;
  • Help with marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing and advertising;
  • Liaise with external suppliers;
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external;
  • Run errands.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in marketing or equivalent;
  • Tech savvy – experienced or easy to learn working with big data systems (ERP, CRM, Email marketing, data hygiene of big systems, manual upload);
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
  • Great communication skills (Dutch and English) – customer support, community management;
  • More than user knowledge about social media;
  • Happy and fun person to be around, someone who has natural tendencies to take care of things and people.

Our BI-Tech team works together with all available business units in Advidi and hence maintains a large portfolio of different services. This role is about translating business needs to data language, mining business insights, visualising hidden patterns of business processes and building informative and robust dashboards that help business growing. It’s vital for this role to have a set of tech skills along with the understanding of a business domain, being a good listener and a strongly organised person. The main challenge is to develop and maintain an analytical ecosystem of Tableau dashboards that help to identify potential areas of growth, track progress and reveal hidden business issues.

Qualifications:

General

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in economics/business/marketing or a technical field;
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills;
  • 3+ years of post-graduation work experience with data analysis and creating dashboards, preferably with software such as Tableau;
  • Innovative self-starter and ability to independently communicate effectively to stakeholders on all levels, seeking alignment at the appropriate times;
  • Ability to translate business requirements into robust solutions;
  • Problem solver with “can-do” mentality and an eye for detail.

Technical skills

  • SQL: Profound understanding from basic operations to window functions, lean and readable code;
  • Tableau: Able to create some medium – complex calculations such as LOD, and the usage of Action filters or Parameter. Data sources management;
  • BigQuery for data preparation and warehousing;
  • Understanding advantage and downsides of live/extract connection in Tableau;
  • Understanding of Data flow process from the warehouse to the dashboard.

Visual Communication

  • Translate complex business issues into data and visualise it in an informative and concise manner;
  • Clear vision on what charts fit specific business needs;
  • Driving the whole development process from a mock-up to a fully automated dashboard;
  • Basic UX/UI skills.

Business Domain knowledge and Self-management

  • Understanding of product metrics, ARPU, ARPPU, LTV, etc;
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Understanding of affiliate marketing or online marketing;
  • Keeping dashboards documentation. Working asynchronously with a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Interviewing end-users on what they need to track, what pain-points they have and what manual work can be automated;
  • Helping business units to formulate what metrics are the most representative for their goals;
  • Organising data on BQ server, validating and aggregating data for future use in Tableau;
  • Building Tableau dashboards according to user needs;
  • Maintaining Tableau reports to keep the numbers up to date.

Day-to-day:

In this role, you will be creating designs for a variety of purposes (banners, merchandise, POS, newsletters, social media and website.) You will take ownership of promotional projects, including clothing, presentations, flyers, booklets and many others.

In close collaboration with the Marketing team and other stakeholders within the Enora Media Group, you will make sure that all marketing and campaign-related assets are approved and ready to go.

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Creative | You’ll be asked to brainstorm new ideas, layouts and graphics which align with the overarching Advidi brand as well as standalone projects. You’ll be required to interpret briefs, present ideas and articulate concepts to the broader team. Our design team currently works across disciplines including graphics, fashion and merchandise and so you’ll have the ability to apply your skills to a range of creative mediums.

Logistics | You’ll be responsible for preparing and gathering research and materials, as well as planning and delivering photo and video shoots. This includes liaising with external suppliers to deliver on time and to budget.

Progressive | Alongside a working knowledge of In-design and accompanying programs, you’ll be tuned into the latest developments in the design sphere and be willing to explore new software that can help deliver Advidi’s design ambitions.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor in Design, Visual arts or relevant qualification;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Hands-on experience with image editing and digital sketching software, like Photoshop, Indesign, XD, and Illustrator;
  • Demonstrable portfolio of related works (e.g. logos, animations and graphics);

Main areas of responsibility: 

Logistics: Booking flights, accommodation, venues, suppliers, vendors for all our offline activities (travel, events, conferences, company events). You should be a great negotiator to get us the best possible deal. 

Creativity: Brainstorming ideas, coming up with concepts for various types of events, both local in Amsterdam and international.
